		<description>It&#039;s interesting to see the comparison between a 1920&#039;s Italian house and an American house of the same period. It also shows the difference in attitude between Italians and Americans. 

Even back then Americans were a consumer society and spent more time working than they did with their family. I think the Italians had the right idea. Less emphasis on filling the house with the latest gadgets and more time with the family.
